I think your observations are right on, and fervently hope your conclusion is wrong. I thinkTrump would be around long enough to destroy the world order (force Ukraine to surrender, pull us out of NATO and God help us all as nuclear weapons proliferate) and pretty much our democratic institutions. But I doubt he will live (or stay sufficiently sane in appearance) to fulfill a term and then we have Vance. I have actually read a dozen pages of Project 2025 and Vance is smart & slick enough to swerve the country straight down that tragic path. OK, got to get back to my postcard-writing now. 😊
