I could not live without the TJ's at Hyde & CA in San Francisco, though I still go to others I haunted in my driving days. It's a nice walk, less than a mile, & my backpack becomes grocery-carrier so the trip also serves as workout. Part of the joy (along with avoiding corporate Bad Guy Safeway and Amazon-owned Whole Foods) of TJ's is the genuine good quality of the workforce. Thanks for this view from within!
