I argued with the GPS directing my Lyft driver, got an immediate text from Lyft saying "It looks like you're not going toward your destination. Is everything OK?" which was reassuring but a little spooky. Still, our detour thru a 2-block alley got us around a hopeless bottleneck & got me to dinner on time. Every now & then humankind wins.
