I always enjoy your writing! But I share your bewilderment about boosts etc. Only a teeny fraction of my 'Followers' (or others) seem to see my posts, and I've had only a teeny fraction of a percentage of stories boosted. And they weren't among what I consider my best. So I long ago just quit worrying about it and don't look at my stats.
