Great piece. Ageism exists everywhere (I think we just observed Ageism Day!) I'm probably older than your mom, & can promise you it's not going away. The only antidote I know is to keep on being productive, patient & persistent -- with a giant dose of kindness to those of every age. Thanks for sharing this.
